We all know how unpleasant continuous negative stress can be. We also know the feeling of sickness in our stomach before an important performance, and the intense ‘fight-or-flight’ reaction we get when we face frustration after frustration.
Both in and out of work, some stress is necessary and normal. It provides you with motivation, energy, and excitement, which helps you achieve goals, meet responsibilities, challenges and leaves you with a sense of accomplishment.
This workshop will explain how repeated, continuous, intense, overwhelming stress is negative stress, which may lead to psychological disorders and physical illness.
Continuous negative stress may leave you feeling angry, fatigued, frustrated, and play havoc with your emotions, and may lead to low self-esteem.
In this workshop, you will learn all about stress, what it can do to you if it is left unchecked, and how you can direct it more effectively in your life.
While stress cannot be eliminated, we can learn how to create and experience a Life in Balance.
This workshop allows participants to identify stressors in their lives, to understand how these stressors affect them, and will learn and practice a variety of effective coping and relaxation techniques.
Participants will learn methods to:

- Complete a comprehensive stress assessment
- Uncover the root causes of the stressors in your personal and work life
- Break through barriers of limitation
